Description
Carlo Nason has design this Murano glass wall light for ITRE in the 1980’s.
After working for the familly Vetreria V. Nason &C., Leucos, Mazzega, Vistosi and other glass factories (especially light producers) he kept on collaborating with whom he had became friends with.
For this piece, re-using the codes of the modern forms, he tended to create unique designs, creating from the roots of glass blowing, traditions, craftsmanship and simple design lines. He, indeed, used a lot of the Gill model from leucos (1962) for this piece. He intended to make tradition value keeps it’s Nobel pace while over-industrialisation in the 1970 and 1980 where pushing the limits of over consumerism and new materials.
